Title: Senior SCADA Engineer
Location: Billings, MT
Hours of Work: Full-Time
Job Description: Seeking a SCADA Engineer for our Billings, Montana office. This position requires a BSEE, professional engineering registration or the ability to become registered, and 5+ years of experience in the area of SCADA/Automation systems (power utility preferred). Experience with networking, power systems, SCADA communication protocols and control systems are required with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex systems. The grade level of the position will be determined by the applicants qualifications. The successful applicant will be responsible for leading others in the design, development, testing, and commissioning of SCADA systems for power utilities and independent power producers. Experience with multiple vendors RTUs/communication processors, HMIs, IEDs, and networking equipment would be preferred. Demonstrated experience in SCADA system design, communication design, and construction specifications related to SCADA/Automation systems also required. Strong conceptualization ability, strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills are a must, including the capability to explain complex technical issues to decision-makers and project teams. Candidate must have good English verbal and written communication skills, be willing to travel, and work successfully in a customer focused, project oriented environment. EEO/AA Employer.
